The Rotary Nature Barn was a Kearney Noon rotary project several years ago and is located at the Cottonmill Park. since the opening of the barn, the rotary Club has continued to raise funds for new displays and equipment. The barn is managed by the City of Kearney Park and Recreation Department.
The barn is free and open to the public from late May through mid-August, from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Tuesday - Sunday, and is home to a variety of critter ranging from goats to peacocks and miniature ponies. Guests can walk through the grounds and be right with the animals. A variety of educational displays and interactive amenities exist inside the facility. The barn is staffed by a park ambassador to help guests enjoy their visit.
